All the weight loss studies show that normal weight and healthy people usually eat a diet that contain plenty of complex carbohydrates (such as fruits and veg, pulses etc) and most people who are overweight follow diets that are high in fat. We need to fully understand how our bodies work in order to create a successful weight loss program. One of the best ways to lose weight fast is to adopt a low carb diet where you restrict the total amount of carbs you take in each day, but are not too concerned about the other foods. You should however make sure you don’t overeat, by carefully managiing your portion sizes, and ensuring you get the right balance of healthy nutritious foods which should also be low in saturated fats.

The weight gain is largely a factor of lifestyle and eating habits and the weight gradually crept up over time rather than overnight. Because it took a long time to gain the weight, you should allow some time to get back to your normal weight. Individuals who do not understand the balance between watching what you eat, taking in adequate water, getting regular exercise and getting proper amounts of sleep are the next customers to the marketing companies pushing the new fad diet, lose weight pill or quick weight loss program.
