He loved food so much and this is what he is aiming for. Because of his never-ending hunt, he has come up with a better idea wherein he can eat the foods that he wants to eat and enjoy and still lose fat, using his food as his fat burner and he succeeded. Flatten Your Abs Review

Flatten Your Abs is also one of the most sought-after program today. Created by David Grisaffi. This is strongly suggested to obese persons who complain of pains in the lower back area especially those who got this dilemma because of large belly fat. Now, they don’t have any reason or alibi why they can’t lose those belly fats. Quick Weight Loss and Burning Fat

October 3rd, 2008 by Marc Warren | No Comments | Filed in Weight Loss

Oftentimes people use quick weight loss diets to help them lose a few pounds in order to fit into a certain outfit or to help them have a better self-image. It may seem like everyone is on some kind of quick weight loss diet, but they aren’t always a good idea. Before embarking on any diet, you should be sure to consult your physician.

Quick weight loss diets are hardly new. However, embarking on one causes a significant change in your dietary and nutritional intake. A quick weight loss diet lasting longer than a week is not recommended for anyone.

A quick weight loss diet should not be followed indefinitely. You might think that you’re doing great and feeling good, but after about two weeks your body will adapt to the new diet and you will no longer lose weight at such a rapid rate. You’ll still lose some weight but it isn’t healthy in the long term.

Your body will begin to shut down and start entering starvation mode if you stop eating. If you have a lot of weight you want to drop, losing weight over time becomes more difficult when you do this. Therefore, while it is tempting to drastically limit your intake when dieting, it will not result in long term weight loss and is the reason why these types of quick weight loss diets are only able to be used for a short duration of time.

When you have lost the weight that you wanted to on your quick weight loss diet, it is often tempting to reward yourself by eating everything in sight. Perhaps that would be a large mistake. Instead, strive to eat balanced and healthy meals while still controlling your caloric intake. Drinking plenty of water is also recommended. Often simply drinking a glass of water will help curb any hunger pains you experience.

Take it easy on yourself physically after you are done dieting. Your body will once again have to get used to the change, even though it felt fine while you were dieting. This change may create additional stress for your body. The adjustment to the recommended intake of calories for your body size should be a gradual one. In this way, you will become accustomed to eating healthily for life, so that you will not have to revert to yo-yo dieting.

A quick weight loss diet can be a smart way to lose a few pounds quickly when you start a weight loss program. To enhance your results, supplement these diets with moderate exercise. But it’s important to eat a sufficient quantity of healthy food with any diet.

Discover Why Traditional Diets Don’t Work

October 2nd, 2008 by Marc Warren | No Comments | Filed in Weight Loss

How many different diets have you tried in the past that simply haven’t worked? What is it with diets that simply don’t work? So many “weight loss gurus” still preach the myth that dieting by eating less will help with weight loss. In reality when we restrict our food intake we run the risk of actually gaining weight. We are designed to interpret reduced food intake with starvation. By restricting our food intake we trigger our body’s starvation preservation mode.

All the weight loss studies show that normal weight and healthy people usually eat a diet that contain plenty of complex carbohydrates (such as fruits and veg, pulses etc) and most people who are overweight follow diets that are high in fat. We need to fully understand how our bodies work in order to create a successful weight loss program. One of the best ways to lose weight fast is to adopt a low carb diet where you restrict the total amount of carbs you take in each day, but are not too concerned about the other foods. You should however make sure you don’t overeat, by carefully managiing your portion sizes, and ensuring you get the right balance of healthy nutritious foods which should also be low in saturated fats.

The weight gain is largely a factor of lifestyle and eating habits and the weight gradually crept up over time rather than overnight. Because it took a long time to gain the weight, you should allow some time to get back to your normal weight. Individuals who do not understand the balance between watching what you eat, taking in adequate water, getting regular exercise and getting proper amounts of sleep are the next customers to the marketing companies pushing the new fad diet, lose weight pill or quick weight loss program. It’s not hard to find these fad or celebrity weight loss plans and diet pills. As we live in a world where we want everything now, it is easier to believe that there is a magic pill, drink, or program that can take the excess weight off quickly, than to believe that we have the ability to re-structure our lives and live healthier longer lives where obesity is in the dim and distant past.

Most diets fail because they do not show you how to create a balance within your body. Diets are doomed to failure because they are structured around making the promoter or some company money rather than structuring a weight loss product or program that will genuinely assist a person to lose weight.

We hear everywhere that those who are obese are more likely to succumb to diseases and other life threatening health problems owing to excessive body weight. Eating high levels of saturated fat is one of the main contributors to unnecessary body fat.

People have been led to believe for too many years that they need to cut down on food or watch every last calorie before they can burn off excess fat. The truth is that our bodies know perfectly well how to manage weight providing we give our bodies what they need to stay healthy - like making sure you get plenty of rest, drink enough water, wholesome and nutritious foods, and some regular physical exercise.

Getting rid of those extra pounds is not only about calorie counting, you also need to avoid eating in excess. Healthy portions of healthy foods are one key to losing weight. Another key to losing weight is not leading a sedentary life but one that involves giving your body the daily physical activity that it craves. Our bodies were made to move!

Dieting Challenges - Habits

October 2nd, 2008 by Marc Warren | No Comments | Filed in Weight Loss

When it comes to dieting there are several challenges that want to prevent you from succeeding. One of those is your habits. Habits have a nasty way of interfering with your weight loss goals. You can break the habits!

Habits are a good thing as long as they help you reach your goals. Unfortunately in many areas of life you may have developed some habits that do not benefit you. Since we are dealing with dieting and weight loss here we will focus on habits that make it more difficult to reach your dieting goals.

Maybe you can identify with this habit – watching TV or movies for hours. Hum, this does not contribute to fat lose or the building up of muscle but rather leads to muscle loss. Muscle loss further slows your body’s metabolism which reduces your bodies ability to burn fat.

Now do you just sit there or do you eat while you watch. You know the munchies, something to keep your fingers busy and your jaw a chewing! Yea, well that is another habit that does not lead to further weight loss.

You likely have other habits that will limit your fat loss goals also. If you stop and think about it for a few moments you can probably put your finger on at least one or two more areas that your habits control. If you are not able to relate to the above examples then think about your own habits - yes you have habits that will limit your weight loss goals.

These types of habits are major road blocks when it comes to losing weight. When you start the diet you have some initial will power and you do okay for a short period of time. But sooner then you desire the habits are back at work causing problems.

To be honest with you this is probably the biggest reason diets fail. Yes diets usually fail because of you! Bummer, the truth about yourself does not always make you feel better does it.

The biggest challenge is finding a system that can help you achieve your goals but even beyond that you may find that you need help with bigger issues like making mental changes that can lead to new habits.

A great diet you can follow for quick weight loss is a calorie shifting diet. It is a bit weird but it gets results. You can also learn about beating your habits at lose 15 pounds fast.

Using the Bosu Ball for Weight Loss Workouts

September 16th, 2008 by Marc Warren | No Comments | Filed in Excersise

Bosu Ball Exercises

One of the best weight loss workouts involves using the Bosu ball. The Bosu ball is that half blue ball you see in the gym. It has a bubble, or dome, on the top and a flat bottom. Weight loss equipment does not get any better than this one.

Bosu ball exercises can workout the whole body. You can utilize the Bosu ball for lower, mid and upper body workouts. Squats are typically the first leg workout exercise to begin with. Like many Bosu ball exercises, you can perform this with the bubble up or down, depending on how difficult you want to make the exercise. You can perform a basic squat by simply standing on the top of the Bosu. It will require balance and strength to maneuver through the workout. If you want to add to the difficulty you can hold hand weights. For a more advanced set of exercises, flip the Bosu ball over so the flat side can be stood on. This makes balance key as well as strength. Another variation of the squat is to hold the Bosu ball over your head and perform squats while standing on the floor.

The leg lunge is another exercise that can be done on the Bosu ball. With the bubble up give yourself a step distance from the Bosu. Perform the lunge by starting with either leg and lunge onto the top of the Bosu. Alternate legs as you do the exercise. As you perform this exercise you can hold weights.

Mid-section exercises work the abdominal muscles. You can sit on the dome of the Bosu, with your feet on the floor, and do a simple sit up. You could also lift your feet and perform crunches by pulling your legs into your chest then pushing them back out. You can do the bicycle crunch exercises or any number of other exercises while sitting on the Bosu. Your abs will remain tightened through each exercise as you stay balanced on the Bosu ball.

Upper body workouts with the Bosu include pushups. Perform the standard pushup by keeping your feet on the floor and placing your hands on the Bosu. You can also place your hands on the floor and put your feet up on the Bosu dome to do pushups. Flip the Bosu over so the dome is on the floor and grab the outer edges of the flat side to perform more advanced pushups. Shoulder workouts can be added by performing a military press over your head with the Bosu.

As you can see the Bosu is a very versatile piece of exercise equipment. There aren’t many weight loss workouts that are better than using the Bosu. You will lose weight and gain strength using it.
